E-mail via RSS

As spam proliferates, will RSS readers start replacing e-mail clients? iUpload thinks so. The hosted web content management vendor now offers a free utility where you e-mail content to your own RSS feed running on their servers. Your message subject becomes the RSS item title, but adding a description is clumsy, and, significantly, the content itself is also stored on their servers -- unlike traditional RSS where traffic flows directly back to your site. So for syndicating Web content you should just create your own feed, but if you're looking for a simple way to make selected e-mails accessible via the Web -- and specifically via an RSS reader -- this service might be helpful. It also reminds us that e-mail interfaces into CMS repositories more generally can be useful for certain content types...
