The Content Management Handbook

Martin White of Intranet Focus (UK) is one of those consultants about whom people say, "I wish there were more of him." White cannot clone himself, but he has published The Content Management Handbook. There are several other good books that explain content management concepts in some detail (c.f. Bob Boiko's CMS Bible or Ann Rockley's Managing Enterprise Content). The gem of White's book is that it speaks directly to the beleagured manager who has just been handed a content management project. White has explained the entire project cycle from business case to system implementation, but clearly took special effort to keep the book to a very practical 4-hour read. Starting a CMS project yourself? Spend an afternoon with Martin White -- through his book...
