Latin Content Management

CMS vendor Stellent recently announced the pending acquisition of a Mexico City-based reseller/integrator called Content Management de Mexico. The company is active and Mexico and Central America, and Stellent wants to expand its formal footprint in those markets. Though not a large deal, the acquisition reflects, we think, a growing interest in content management solutions in Latin America. To be sure, the region encompasses many diverse countries with varying degrees of Internet penetration -- but we are seeing greater attention to CMS issues from Brazil to Mexico, so Stellent's move is understandable...
