You can be forgiven if you never fully understood Microsoft’s enterprise search product offerings over the years. Microsoft itself has more often than not been confused about enterprise search. Recently however, Microsoft has simplified its approach with SharePoint 2013 Search.
Redmond’s new search platform has brought fresh challenges as well as new opportunities for enterprise customers.
