Updated Web CMS product evaluations

We've just updated our evaluations of five Web CMS offerings, and added a new one (Atex Polopoly) to our report.

They are:

  • Atex Polopoly -- longtime Swedish offering has gotten a bit more wind under UK-based newspaper-automation vendor, Atex
  • Drupal 7 -- a decent upgrade, but not as epic as the Drupal echo chamber would have you believe
  • IBM Lotus WCM -- also a recent upgrade, but still not much to crow about
  • Magnolia -- a rare Java-based open source platform is increasingly targeting media customers
  • Plone -- longtime platform keeps chugging
  • Typo3 -- losing some ground to Drupal and Wordpress, but still suited to certain scenarios

If your organization is a Web Content Management stream subscriber, you can access the updated evaluation chapters and comparison matrices here.
