Updated Evaluations of Sitecore and CoreMedia

This week we continue our series of updates to RSG's Web Content & Digital Experience Management (WCM) vendor evaluations, with fresh takes on longtime players Sitecore and CoreMedia.

I've already speculated about Sitecore's somewhat paradoxical future and put some recent layoffs in broader perspective. Our evaluation finds Sitecore "doubling down" on its bundled DXP strategy and analyzes what that means for you.

CoreMedia continues the kind of roadmap evolution that smaller vendors can more readily afford to undertake.  After long segues targeting media companies and then ecommerce use cases, the vendor is focusing more on omnichannel use cases and consumer-goods companies.  We analyze the implications of this as well as the firm's recent acquisition by private equity investors.

If your firm subscribes to RSG's WCM research stream, you can immediately download the updated evaluations and see for yourself.  If your employer does not yet subscribe, check out this free sample WCM vendor evaluation (of Adobe AEM Sites).
