MediaBin in Play?

Rumors abound that cash-strapped MediaBin is about to be purchased by a U.S. company. The buyer could well be a CMS vendor, looking to add sexy digital asset management (DAM) features to their mix. Unlike some other DAM players, MediaBin is very web-publishing (as opposed to archival-retention) focused. Interwoven is a likely suitor, although the company has not been an aggressive in the M&A scene lately. This would be a bittersweet pairing with any CMS vendor, because MediaBin boasts strong relationships with several competing CMS firms...
