Looking for a CMS-focused conference? Consider CMS Expo

RSG research subscribers and consulting clients often ask me to recommend a content management conference for them and their teams to attend. Unfortunately, there aren’t that many CMS/WCM-focused shows left these days. But one of them is a three-day CMS Expo, set to commence on May 14 in Evanston, Illinois.

Having attended this event in the past, I can tell you that you should prepare yourself for a lot of information delivered by a set of great speakers. And not just around open source CMS (yes, there will be rivalry and debates on what CMS is better: WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla!). Traditional (read: commercial) CMS vendors also frequent the show floor. To add to that, you may even learn about a WCM system you’ve never heard of before.

Another valuable element of this event is the end-of-day social events that aim to bring participants closer together. Do not miss this chance to network and connect with like-minded professionals and meet new CMS geeks, as well as renew existing ties with the CMS geek community.

You can find out more information about the event and how to register here.
