CMS Watch and The Rockley Group Form Strategic Alliance

Will Publish New "Content Component Management Report"

Silver Spring, MD, USA and Schomberg, ON, Canada -- CMS Watch and The Rockley Group Inc. today announced that they have established a strategic alliance to create a new CMS Watch report evaluating Content Component Management technology. The forthcoming report will help enterprises sort through the complexities of choosing the right tool for managing discrete components of content in a multi-channel world.

CMS Watch founder Tony Byrne said, "This part of the content management marketplace has been ignored too long, and The Rockley Group is the perfect team for delivering the kind of vendor-neutral, customer-oriented technology evaluations that CMS Watch has long published."

The Rockley Group founder and President, Ann Rockley added, "CMS Watch is well-established as an unbiased source for content technology and we're thrilled to embark upon this alliance. Today's agreement sets forth our promise to provide a new and highly valuable resource on Structured Content Management."

Under the alliance, CMS Watch and The Rockley Group are joining to produce a new report on the growing Content Component Management software marketplace. Publishing is anticipated for Summer, 2007.

Significant vendors in the Content Component Management space include: Astoria, AuthorIT, DocZone, PTC, SiberLogic, Trisoft, Vasont, XHive, XyEnterprise, Percussion, Tridion, Documentum, and Interwoven.

The report will also evaluate major structured authoring tools, including JustSystems XMetaL, PTC Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, and In.Vision Xpress Author.
