Synkron releases major update to Via CMS product

Less than 6 months ago Danish CMS vendor Synkron announced Via 1.0, a complete technology refresh with significant UI improvements. Now Synkron has moved fast -- at least in terms of version numbers -- to release Via 2.0 (find PDF release notes here). Workflow and versioning have been reintroduced, alongside minor enhancements and bug fixes. As readers of the CMS Report, European Edition know, Synkron still lacks some potentially important features, such as a sample site, in-context editing, and integration with MS Office. Those interested may also wish to peruse a roadmap (PDF) with information on future planned releases. This open approach to communicating with customers and partners is a nice departure from the more restrictive product communications still favored by most vendors.
