CMS vendor Synkron has been hard at work to move from Active Server Pages to .NET. Earlier this month the company announced a major new release, called "Via." Synkron candidly numbered the complete rewrite Version 1.0. You can find a very brief product description (pdf) available in English, but most information is still only available in Danish. On top of the technology refresh, Synkron's new version comes with UI improvements and special features for multinational organizations with multiple sites. Exciting times, but also a potentially tough upgrade for existing customers, and an unproven platform for new ones.
