Hyperwave survives into 2006

Austrian ECM vendor Hyperwave was close to going bust in early October, but the company recently announced finding a solution that "allows for the business to be continued, including the delivery of products, support and professional services." An infusion from some venture funds solves an immediate cash flow problem, but VCs are known to be impatient. The company, now called "NewHyperG" (not to be confused with "New Ali G"), will want to create a sustainable profit, fast, in order to make it into 2007, when Hyperwave will have turned 20 years old.
