Still fragmented, after all these years
As I've said repeatedly, the number of viable Web content management vendors continues to expand. It turns out, for example, that the 72 systems seeing use in Denmark (population: 5.4m) has now jumped to 121. Reports list manager Janus Boye, "I'm sure if you scratch the surface you will similar patterns around the world..." Indeed, a small survey of CMS adoption at 14 UK higher ed institutions found...14 different products in active use (via Martin White).
