A recent spidering of US federal government public websites yielded more than 75 million pages, according to the project's sponsors, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). It's an impressive project indeed, although no one can be certain how fully comprehensive the results are. It seems likely that if you added the federal "deep web" plus Intranets, the number would easily clear 100 million pages.
