Check out this thorough, fair, and ultimately somewhat positive review of the Zope-based Plone Web CMS by Swedish designer/developer Roger Johansson. Plone gets more than its share of glowing recommendations from people who -- being grateful for any open-source CMS that is even moderately simple to use -- don't dig deeply into the guts of how the package actually works. Note in particular Johansson's careful attention to display standards -- an area where many CMS packages (commercial and OS alike) are falling short of growing demands for cleaner and more accessible output.
