Ipedo Picks Up a Slingshot with its XML Database

CMS Watch has closely tracked the emergence of XML databases and application servers. The advent of commercial-grade storage, transaction, caching, and transformation tools for XML-formatted content may well tip the scales away from relational DB platforms for future CM systems. Challenging industry goliath Software AG is Ipedo's XML Database. They are priced similarly, but one of the things to like about Ipedo is the plethora of operating systems it runs on, including Red Hat Linux. What this David needs, though, is tighter integration with XML-oriented CM packages...
