SAP Hints at ECM Play

You might not have noticed, but European behemoth SAP has been edging beyond data management and into content, at least a little. Now in an interview with Transform Magazine, CEO Henning Kagermann predicts, "I think we'll have to invest more internally [in content management] or make an acquisition in the future." That doesn't mean anything will happen soon. Competitor Oracle has been saying the same thing for years. But it's interesting to speculate about SAP's intentions...
