Stellent buys DAM vendor
Taking a cue from Documentum and Interwoven, Stellent has purchased a DAM vendor, Ancept. Ancept may not be an ideal match -- it leans heavily on the entertainment vertical and is closely tied to IBM's Content Manager product -- but Stellent has a fairly good track record of finding and exploiting the useful bits from the technologies it acquires. BTW, seems like the independent DAM vendors are going fast...could Artesia be next?...
