What to look for when evaluating WCM and DAM workflow services

Yesterday we released a new advisory paper on workflow. The briefing focusses in particular on what you need to look for (and what you can dispense with) in Web CMS and Digital Asset Management environments.  WCM  and DAM workflow needs frequently differ from what you might require in, say, a Document Management system.

To quote:

Workflow services can help minimize the cost and time required to coordinate common approval processes -- but only if the service does what you want it to do, and users don't "work around" the system....

Subscribers to our WCM and DAM research streams can download the workflow paper here.

Our customers say...

"The Digital Asset Management Research is a straightforward, comprehensive report that's invaluable to anyone considering or implementing digital asset management. With a no-nonsense approach to evaluating the major vendors and best practices, this report is a true handbook. It's my new bedside reading..."
