You already know about "CMM," the doughty Capability Maturity Model for Software from Carnegie Mellon that helps you measure, evaluate, and improve your software processes. Now along comes the "XML Maturity Model," emanating from the professional services group of a smallish XML software company, Sphere Corporation. The Model helps identify and predict an organization's readiness to adopt and exploit XML internally. Right now it's only available to Sphere's partners; we'd like to think there's an open-source model here somewhere...
