Today we are really excited to launch our latest online course, Fundamentals of ECM Technology. We have received a growing number requests over the years to run regional and global ECM technology workshops, so it seemed time to capture and provide a more convenient mechanism to you to access our industry and technical experience.
A lot of work went into this, and I believe it will provide real and measurable value if you are planning or starting an ECM project. As with our other courses, we focus on the technology: the technical basics you need to understand to have the best chance of success in your ECM endeavors. As always we have tried to keep things fun and lively -- and we ourselves had fun recording this -- but fun aside, the sessions are packed with solid, practical advice, based on long and very real industry experience. You can peruse the course learning objectives here (pdf).
The course adds to an existing body of work out there. So we have designed it to run either standalone -- as a solid starting point for you and your project team -- or to complement other courses such as those from AIIM, CompTia, and TAWPI -- all good sources of education.
I hope you enjoy the modules, and as always we really do want to hear your feedback. It's by talking to you the users and buyers of technology that we're able to do our work.

"The Search & Information Access Research is a useful tool for anyone working on an enterprise search project. The descriptions of how search works, recommendations for how teams and projects should be structured, as well as the information about hidden costs and how to control them make the research worth your time."
