Web analytics remains a nascent industry, so you don't have a huge choice of conferences that focus solely on the practice. However, here are the events you don't want to miss.
The eMetrics Summit is coming up in Washington DC on October 15. If you've never been, and you're in the area, I highly recommend the event...imagine 600 web analytics folks in one place! Great opportunity to network and learn. eMetrics is considered to be the premier web analytics conference, and has been building steam since it was founded in 2002. If you can't attend, there are other eMetrics events throughout the year in Stockholm, Dusseldorf, London, and San Francisco. The Stockholm show is October 29-30.
Speaking of great upcoming conferences, come to Aarhus, Denmark from November 6-8 to attend cmf2007, put together by CMS Watch enterprise portal analyst Janus Boye. I'll be giving an all-encompassing tutorial on web analytics, called How to Reap Rewards from Web Analytics, a half-day boot camp where you'll learn how to prepare for and maintain a web analytics initiative that provides decision support and return on investment insight to your web channel. I'll also be speaking on Web Analytics for Web 2.0. Look forward to seeing you there!
A bit farther out on the radar screen is X Change, hosted by Semphonic, the firm I recently joined. In our first event, we took a different approach, holding multiple facilitated discussion groups of no more than 12 people. You can read about it in Eric Peterson's post, and we're now planning to do this next year. Shoot me an email if you'd like to receive information about it: pkemelor@semphonic.com.

"Bottom line: I wholeheartedly recommend the ECM Research as a resource for end-user organizations -- and consultants who haven't worked with every solution listed would be well served to acquire a copy, as well."
